What tools are available on MultiTool?
We offer a variety of safe, browser-based utilities including image resizers & converters, unit & currency converters, Base64 encoder/decoder, PDF tools (merge, split, image→PDF, PDF→Word), QR code & URL shortener tools, and more. Tools run client-side where possible for privacy.
Are my files uploaded to your servers?
Most tools process files **directly in your browser** (client-side) and do **not** upload them to our servers. If a tool uses a third-party API, it will be clearly noted on the tool page and you will be informed before any data leaves your device.
What file types and sizes are supported?
Supported formats depend on the tool. Commonly accepted types:
- Images: JPG, PNG, WebP
- PDF tools: PDF
- Word: DOCX (best), DOC (limited)
Each tool page shows recommended maximum file size. Large files may fail on low-memory devices — we recommend keeping single files under ~50 MB for best results.
Why do I see a pop-up/popunder ad when downloading?
We use an ad partner (Adsterra) to monetize the site. Popunder ads are triggered **only on user action** (e.g., clicking Download or Create). Ads are loaded at most once per session to reduce intrusiveness. If you prefer an ad-free experience, consider donating or contacting us for sponsorship options.
Is using popunder ads legal and safe for users?
Yes — we only load third-party ad scripts after an explicit user click. We do not collect personal data via the ad script. If you encounter malicious behavior from ads (rare), please report the page and we will investigate immediately.
How do you protect my privacy?
We minimize data collection: many tools work fully client-side so nothing is transmitted. Where we collect minimal data (e.g., anonymous analytics), we disclose it in the Privacy Policy. Never submit sensitive personal documents unless you trust the destination.
Why did my conversion fail or the tool stop responding?
Common reasons:
- File too large for browser memory.
- Unsupported file format or corrupted file.
- Browser blocks the required APIs (try a modern browser: Chrome, Firefox, Edge).
Try smaller files, a different browser, or refresh the page. If problem persists, send details and a sample file (if not sensitive) to
support@multitool.website.
Do you store or log my uploaded files?
No — unless a tool explicitly indicates server processing. For client-side tools, files are processed in memory in your browser and not sent to our servers. Any server-side processing (rare) will be disclosed on the tool page.
Can I use these tools on mobile?
Yes. All tools are responsive and work on modern mobile browsers. Some large file operations may be slower or limited by device memory on phones and tablets.
Are the tools free to use?
Yes — all the tools on MultiTool are free for personal use. We support the site through unobtrusive ads and optional donations. Please read our Terms of Use for commercial restrictions.
Do you have an API or bulk conversion options?
Not currently. The site focuses on in-browser tools. If you need automation or bulk processing, contact us at
business@multitool.website — we may offer custom solutions or partner recommendations.
How can I report a bug or request a new tool?
We welcome feedback! Email a brief description, steps to reproduce, and optionally a sample file to
bugs@multitool.website. For new tool requests, describe the use case and priority.
Does MultiTool support localization / other languages?
We currently provide the UI in English. If you’d like a localized version (e.g., Spanish, Hindi), let us know — we prioritize languages based on user demand.
Can I remove the ad popunder or purchase an ad-free experience?
We may offer ad-free plans or sponsorships in the future. Contact
